Going once was not enough but it will have to do.

Me and my daddy!

It was a gloomy day but I still loved it.

This is the best candy place ever. I waited all day for this.

This last weekend was one of the best ever! My parents had decided to take a trip to Roseville to go to this thing called Apple Hill. Since I hadn't been to Roseville in almost 2 years I HAD to go. I was sad to leave Eric behind especially since he has never been to San Fransisco but the thought of being back home helped cheer me up. Thursday was spent eating at La Bou, going to the galleria mall (which I think is ridiculous), going to my old elementary school, seeing family and wonderful close friends. Friday was spent at Apple Hill. I love looking at all the vendors, getting apple doughnuts, fudge, caramel apples, apple pies and apple fritters. But towards the end of the day I was so exhausted all I wanted to do was go home and sleep. Friday night was spent with one of my best friends at this yummy Italian restaurant. Saturday we headed to San Fransisco. It was a very windy, cold, gloomy day BUT it didn't rain which would have made the trip so much worse.
I have so many fond memories of the city but to be honest the smells were KILLING me. Before I was pregnant I had a regular nose just like any other person but now my nose is seriously like super nose. I can smell anything and everything and that doesn't mix with San Fran. The worst was the fact that I had to pee literally every 30 mins and the public restrooms there are really bad. Every time I would walk into a bathroom it was like I was hitting a brick wall of the worst thing I had ever smelt. It was brutal. After about 2 hours of that I was basically done. It was a great day other than the smell situation but by the end of it I felt like an old person. My back was killing me, my feet hurt, if I smelt cigarette smoke one more time I was going to shoot somebody, my legs hurt from all the walking , and I was exhausted. As much as I was sad to go, especially since I'm not sure when I will go back, it was so nice to sit in a nice warm car with no bad smells smacking me in the face.

All in all I was really glad that I went but was ready to be back in my own bed with my husband. The night I got home from the trip I think I slept like 14 hours. I love sleep.
